Small industrial town in the north-east part of Šluknov´s hook. It concurs to German towns Ebersbach a Neugersdorf. First mentioned in the year 1346. The New Jiříkov was established in the year 1681. Since the year 1816 there was the mineral spa. The main architectonic building is the church of St. George of 1724-28 with baroque prismatic tower. The interior of the church is in rococo and classical style. At the town-square you can see the baroque statuary of 1769.
